A: No. Hangers are generated based on the reactions at the ends of the trusses and assumptions about final truss designs. These reactions are generated in KeyBuildŽ Structure, before the truss is sent to KeyTruss for final engineering. - top - Q: How can I get my existing inventory/accounting information into KeyBuildŽ? A: KeyManŽ can interface with most accounting/point of sales software packages. - top - Q: What kind of insurance does Keymark have and will you stand behind your calcs? A: Keymark's software systems are tools for specifying materials - they are not a replacement for final engineering. Just as is the case with a beam program or a truss program, an engineer must review a program's specifications before certifying what will be final engineering. Keymark does maintain Errors and Omissions Insurance that supports final engineering that is completed by Keymark professional engineers on component designs. - top - Q: Will Keymark Engineering seal walls or layouts? What about review engineering? A: No. Keymark Engineering provides component engineering only. This means that individual trusses will be sent into an engineer who will review then, barring any problems, seal and return the drawing to you. Engineering jobs on an individual basis is not available at this time. - top - Q: Where do we get prices for the materials in KeyBuildŽ? A: Material and labor prices are provided by the user. Due to constantly changing material costs, Keymark cannot offer a standard pricing table. - top -
